We are pleased to present an exciting twist on the Terry Brooks Treasures and Gems from the Treasure Chest archival series. Since 2004, English guitarist Chris Gill has released six albums, heading up the Band Of Rain, with a brand new album, ‘Petrichor’ to be unleashed at a TBD date in 2020. Terry provided Chris with unreleased guitar solos from his archives. Chris took them to his studio and crafted the four very different instrumentals that comprise this new EP, which he titled Promise of Peace. Terry and his production team send much love and thanks to Chris for his magic!!!

The music on Volume 7 is from two rehearsals recorded on July 27 and July 30, 1984. The performances are phenomenal, showcasing Terry and the band at the height of their powers, just before an upcoming tour of Germany. These rehearsals are also a treat for fans because they include multiple, and excitingly varied versions of songs like ‘High Flyer’ and ‘Looking For A Friend’. The recordings were digitized from a cassette tape found in Terry’s archives and is shown in the cool cover image created by production team member Ben Upham.

The ‘Treasures and Gems from the Treasure Chest’ series has been launched to make available unreleased and little heard music from Terry’s massive archives. HOWEVER, we are doing something different with Volume 6. Terry Brooks production team member Ben Upham compiled a set of his favorite songs from five of Terry's officially released studio albums, running them in an order that creates his own personal dream concert set list. The rest of the production team listened and wholeheartedly agreed! It's a fantastic cross section of Terry's music and also serves as an ideal compilation introduction to his music for newcomers. You may want some butter for your Strange Toast, but Terry has supplied all the Jam you need!

The ‘Treasures and Gems from the Treasure Chest’ series has been launched to make available unreleased and little heard music from Terry’s massive archives. Each volume in the series seeks to showcase the many sides of this multi-faceted artist.
The first three tracks of this set were recorded live in 1984 during Terry’s tour of Germany. It opens with 20 minutes of awe inspiring, powerhouse jamming that will appeal to fans of monster guitar solos. ‘Child Of The City’ follows, blending song with more exploratory instrumental workouts. The live set comes to a close with the heavy blues, song and jam monster ‘Down And Dirty Blues’. As a bonus we have included one of the only occurrences of Terry doing a cover song – Terry ROCKS the classic ‘Spoonful’, recorded in 1987 at a private concert.
